While building environment objects (events) like rocks and trees, I came across the issue of deploying them on the right terrain.
I have my own mapgen function used to create the map file from Tiled, but don't want to have to run it again every time people join a map as it is a computationally expensive process and repetitive of what is already done in creating the map. Was just wondering if there was a way to check on the Tiled file? e.g. is a certian coordinate X, Y grass or sand or rocks or water?
