I'm currently working on a game using RPG-JS that features a pet system where users can collect, sell/buy pets, use items on them to boost their stats, and even battle with them. I wanted to seek help for my development process for this feature and also get some advice on how to manage entities effectively.
Separate Entities: Apart from items and players, I'm looking to have separate entities for pets. How can I Implement Pets within RPG-JS to ensure smooth gameplay. What are different approaches to achieve
Development Phases: Here's how I'm planning to approach the development of this feature:
Phase 1: Pet Collection - Implement the ability for players to find and collect pets.
Phase 2: Pet Trading - Allow players to buy/sell pets with each other.
Phase 3: Item Usage - Enable players to use items on their pets to enhance their stats.
Phase 4: Battle System - Implement a battle system where players can battle with their pets.
Current Status: I'm using the latest version of RPG-JS. If anyone has experience with similar features or any tips on how to improve this system, I'd love to hear them!
